My response was this - I know this is my goal for everyone athlete I coach. It isn't always about Wins-Loses. But they are nice. As a coach I have found many great happiness from the guys and gals I have coached. Yes there can be bad times in coaching with a hard loss or not giving a varsity jersey to a junior when a underclassman just has more talent. But as a coach we are trying to build up the kids to succeed in life and not just in sports so life lessons need to be taught.
